Discover the Impact of Your Vote (2026)
PowerMoves’ unique Voter Impact Index projects the impact of your vote in any zip code. The Voter Impact Index is a non-partisan index, which assigns to every zip code a voter impact score that is calculated based on the competitiveness of six federal and state elections associated with that unique zip code.
You can either search for the Impact Score of a specific zip code OR explore a map of scores across the country, by state or zip code, by clicking the “Explore Our Map” button. Note: Data is based on election results through November 2024.
Note: the look up tool below excludes the impact of the presidential voting since there is not a presidential race in 2026. However, it does not exclude senate and gubernatorial races in states where there are none this year.
On this page, we have excluded the most recent Presidential race.
We present this alternative version because, for people focused exclusively on their vote impact in 2026, removal of the most recent presidential result from the Voter Impact Index appropriately eliminates the unique effect of a presidential race on contemporaneous elections, in terms of the both number and characteristics of voters.
We have allocated the relative weight other races as demonstrated below.
